The Brooke House Health and Wellbeing Centre seeks to support and improve the physical and mental health and serving and retired members of the British Armed Forces, the Police, Prison and Emergency Services, and their families and carers in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Who is eligible?
The Brooke House Health and Wellbeing Centre seeks to support and improve the physical and mental health and serving and retired members of the British Armed Forces, the Police, Prison and Emergency Services, and their families and carers in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Brooke House aims to provide multi-disciplinary, evidenced-based and outcomes-focused, high-impact support for the care and recovery of the uniformed services and their families, complementing other therapeutic services and providing an environment where they may develop together.
Who can refer?
Clients can self-refer by completing a client referral form or be referred by Statutory Services, the Community and Voluntary Sector or Armed Forces Charities and Associations. Brooke House is not a crisis service.
What is the process?
Once a referral is received and eligibility confirmed the client will receive an acknowledgement letter within 5 days. This letter asks them to contact Brooke House to arrange an initial screening appointment with one of our Health and Wellbeing Coordinators in Brooke House Health and Wellbeing Centre in Colebrooke Park, Co. Fermanagh. An initial screening appointment is an informal discussion to establish what services or support clients are eligible for based on their need, as a result of their service. Following this informal discussion, the client will be referred or signposted to appropriate services based on his or her individual need.
Once they have completed their service clients will be reviewed by a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator before moving on to the next step of service, if any.
